Akufo-Addo most corrupt President in 4th republic

Former Director of the Ghana Integrity Initiative, Vitus Azeem has described the current Akufo-Addo-led government as the worst in the fight against corruption.

Comparing the tenures of leaders since the inception of the 4th Republic, he noted that governments over the course of the years have put in their shifts to reduce the plague despite the deteriorations but singled out this administration as being the worst culprits.

On the same issue of corruption, a founding member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has described corruption in the current administration as the worst in the country’s history.

"The level of corruption under Akufo Addo's government is the worst ever in the history of Ghana and if he doesn't take care, there'll be a civil unrest under his leadership just like the revolution that happened in the North of Africa," Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe said.

The former Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ), Emile Short has also said the perception of corruption in the Akufo-Addo government is “very high”.
