Gov’t spent over Gh¢100k to rename Tamale Stadium

Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Pius Enam Hadzide feels his outfit was modest in spending over GHC 100,000 to rename the Tamale Sports Stadium after late Vice President Aliu Mahama.

According to Hadzide, the lump sum for the ceremony included the organisation of keep fit sessions and ceremonial football match between the Southern and Northern select sides of which the former won by 2-1 to lift the trophy.
