Indexing government scandals one at a time
Members of a vigilante group affiliated to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Delta Force, stormed the Kumasi Circuit Court and freed members of their group who were facing charges for causing disturbances at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council.
A reporter who was in court told Citi News that the group vandalized some court properties and almost assaulted the Judge, Mary Senkyire.
According to the reporter, the judge stood in shock at the Delta Force’s behaviour and was on the verge of being brutalised up by the vigilante group before police intervened and ushered her to her chamber.
