NPP officials and supporters take over government projects, posts, buildings

NPP officials and supporters in some districts have taken over government projects and buildings.

The First Vice Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Brong Ahafo Region, Alex Asare, and his wife, Yaa Achiaa, are in the grips of the police for allegedly taking over three toilet facilities in the aftermath of the 2016 elections.

Mr Asare is said to have led one Justice Appiah to seize the facilities in Derma, near Bechem in the Brong Ahafo Region.
