Indexing government scandals one at a time
The Ghana Police Service has begun investigations into alleged corruption in the implementation of the School Feeding Programme in some Senior High Schools (SHSs). So far, 53 schools in the Ashanti Region have been cited, with some alleged to have exchanged food for cash.
This was contained in a letter from the Ghana Education Service, notifying its Ashanti Region directorate of the said infractions committed in the said schools.
Some of the schools listed in the statement are Afia Serwaa Kobi Ampem SHS, Adu Gyamfi SHS, Kumasi Anglican, Kumasi Girls, Kumasi Wesley Girls, KNUST SHS, and Opoku Ware SHS.
